Li Wei Leads a Delegation for Investigation and Exchange Visit at Huawei Lianqiuhu R&D Center

On May 17, Li Wei, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of SDE, led a delegation to conduct an investigation and exchange visit at Huawei Lianqiuhu R&D Center. He held discussions with Jiang Wangcheng, Vice President of Huawei and CEO of Huawei Oil & Gas and Mines Corps. The two sides reached a consensus on deepening strategic cooperation and jointly advancing the intelligent transformation of the energy industry.

Li Wei stated that as strategic partners, SDE and Huawei have achieved phased outcomes in cooperation covering mine intelligence, industrial networks, digital energy, joint innovation and other fields. He expressed hope that both parties would further deepen strategic cooperation, leverage their respective strengths, align efforts to advance in-depth, refined and comprehensive intelligent upgrading across all industrial segments of the energy sector. The two sides will strengthen pragmatic, multi-field and in-depth cooperation including application scenario achievement release, computing power collaboration and smart factory construction, so as to deliver replicable and promotable intelligent solutions for the transformation and development of energy enterprises.

Jiang Wangcheng extended gratitude to SDE for its high recognition and consistent support to Huawei. He remarked that Huawei attaches great importance to its partnership with SDE, as the two enterprises share highly consistent development philosophies and enjoy a solid foundation for cooperation. Moving forward, tailored to SDE’s actual demands, Huawei will deepen its presence vertically in the mining sector while horizontally expanding business coverage to chemical engineering, electric power, new energy and other industries. It will accelerate the intelligent construction and digital transformation of all industrial sectors of SDE, and set an exemplary benchmark for the faster and better application of artificial intelligence across the entire energy industry.

During the visit, Li Wei toured the park’s main power guarantee control center and data storage technology development laboratory, gaining an in-depth understanding of cloud-based data management, mass data storage and customized industry scenario solutions.
