On the afternoon of September 22, Li Wei, Secretary of CPC Shandong Energy Committee and Chairman of SDEG, together with Zhang Baocai, Deputy Secretary of the Committee, Director and General Manager of SDEG, met with Hu Shanting, Secretary of CPC China Coal Technology&Engineering Group Committee (hereafter “CCTEG”) and chairman of CCTEG, who was visiting SDEG.

Li Wei said that at present, SDEG is engaged in industrial transformation and is accelerating the development of new energy&new materials, high-end chemicals and other industries alike. In the industrial transformation, SDEG will remain committed to the goal of "double carbons" and tap its core technological advantages. He hoped that both sides could further deepen cooperation in fields of coal mine intelligence, equipment manufacturing and others and fully utilize advantages of technology, talents and resources of both sides so as to boost the high-quality development of SDEG and CCTEG.

An introduction was given by Hu Shanting on the operation status of CCTEG and its planning for development during China’s “14th Five-Year Plan”. He expressed the hope that the two sides should further deepen communication and jointly carry out technical research in related fields to complement each other's advantages and achieve win-win outcome and coordinated development. 

Also present at the meeting are Zhao Yongfeng, Deputy Secretary of CPC China Coal Technology&Engineering Group Committee and General Manager of CCTEG, Liu Jianzhong, member of the standing committee of CPC China Coal Technology&Engineering Group Committee and Liu Jian, member of the Standing Committee of CPC Shandong Energy Committee and Deputy General Manager of SDEG.
