On the afternoon of September 23, Li Wei, Secretary of CPC Shandong Energy Committee and Chairman of SDEG, together with Zhang Baocai, Deputy Secretary of the Committee and Director and General Manager of SDEG, met with Man Shengang, Secretary of CPC Shandong Gold Committee and Chairman of Shandong Gold Group (SDGG), as well as Li Guohong, General Manager of SDGG.

At first, Li Wei extended welcome to Man Shengang and his delegation. He said that SDEG and SDGG have been cooperating for a long time, making contributions to the economic and social development of Shandong and realizing win-win. The two sides are duty-bound to ensure Shandong province’s energy security, optimize the energy mix and enhance the size and strength of provincial backbone enterprises. In this situation he also hoped that both could find more common grounds and converging interests in each other’s strategic planning during China’s" 14th Five-Year Plan", based on which to expand bilateral cooperation, combine advantages and fuel coordinated development, so as to realize transformational growth and high-quality development.

Man Shengang enunciated the future plan of SDGG. He said that Shandong Gold has a complete industrial chain and strong advantages in technology, talents, and resources. It has kept a sound cooperative relationship with SDEG for many years. It is expected that both can achieve greater development in the vast market, by virtue of integrated innovation and mutually beneficial cooperation.
