On the morning of February 7, SDEG 2022 Key Work Deployment & Post-Holiday Work Resumption Meeting was successfully held. Main topics of the meeting include implementing the spirit of the mobilization conference of Shandong Province in 2022, summarizing key works completed by SDEG for year 2021 as well as deploying key work tasks for 2022. In addition, heads and staff at all levels were encouraged to take immediate actions to implement the 2022 key work tasks so as to start 2022 solidly and contribute to the high quality and high efficiency development of SDEG. During the meeting, Li Wei, Secretary of the CPC Shandong Energy Committee and Chairman of SDEG, delivered a speech. The Meeting was presided over by Zhang Baocai, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Shandong Energy Committee and Director and General Manager of SDEG.

Li Wei firstly gave arrangements for the in-depth implementation of the spirit in mobilization conference of Shandong Province in 2022 and then made a comprehensive report on the key work completed in 2021 and the work progress in 2022. He clearly defined the 2022 key work tasks and required that all staff should efficiently return to respective positions with concentrated minds and continuously pursue “earnest, authenticity, meticulousness, reality and efficiency” at work. Li Wei said, since the beginning of this year, all subsidiaries and institutions had been earnestly implementing the general deployment of SDEG at its annual work conference, and concentrating efforts to promote reform and make key breakthroughs.  Overall, SDEG has achieved coordinated development and steady operation: First, a sound start in 2022 has been secured with all work progressing steadily; Second, positive achievements have been made in key work tasks; Third, management and control for safety production proceed orderly and efficiently; Fourth, mining sites remain stable and harmonious; Fifth, remarkable results have been achieved in terms of coal stock and supply.

Given that some subsidiaries and institutions fall far behind of achieving “earnest, authenticity, meticulousness, reality and efficiency” at work, Li Wei stressed that subsidiaries and institutions at all levels must raise awareness, efficiently return to positions with concentrated minds and secure victory in the first “post-holiday battle”.

All staff at SDEG should timely adjust from the “ holiday mode”to the "work mode" , resume respective responsibilities and strive to secure stunning performance in the first quarter. Besides, comprehensive measures should be timely made to guarantee the smooth running of key work tasks, which include safety production, business management, project construction, petition system and others. Subsidiaries and institutions at all levels should shoulder corresponding responsibilities in implementing above mentioned measures and ensuring their own staff station in position with the right “work mode”.

Li Wei pointed out that recently, the CPC Central Committee, Shandong Provincial People’s Government, the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee consecutively held a series of important meetings, in which new deployments and requirements have been put forward. It is requested that heads and staff from all levels should thoroughly study these deployments, clearly identify objectives and tasks, take concrete actions and make breakthroughs in key work so as to promote the overall reform and development of SDEG. With confidence and determination to achieve the annual goals and tasks, all relevant entities should decompose work plans, clarify corresponding responsibilities and conduct cooperation in according to their respective responsibilities. The focus for industrial transformation should be enhancing advantages while offsetting weak points and establishing mechanism and improving efficiency is the key for reform and innovation. For project construction, early production and strict management should be guaranteed and for profitability and efficiency enhancement, the key is providing incentives and guarantees. All relevant entities should implement the hierarchical management system, deployment and inspection coordination system as well as the assessment system featuring generous awards and heavy penalties to ensure that the key work be fully completed.

Li Wei stressed that heads and leaders will serve as “chief commanders” for the key work of corresponding subsidiaries and institutions, who should give commands at the “real battle field” and view the implementation of key work as the “arena” to test their competence. Li Wei called on all staff to pursue“earnest, authenticity, meticulousness, reality and efficiency” at work and conduct evaluation based on actual work performance. Strict work standards should be set to “pursue excellence”, concrete actions should be taken to “solve real problems” and specific measures shall be implemented to “form a close loop”. Rooted at front-line to accumulate on site information, all heads and leaders should also enhance efficiency, improve the competency of implementation, spare no efforts to complete all goals in 2022 and salute the CPC 20th National Congress with excellent performance.

Zhang Baocai requested that all heads and staff comprehensively study and implement the spirit of the meeting, set strict work standards, take specific measures and swiftly switch to the “work mode”. While following the general deployment of SDEG and the instructions from Chairman Li Wei, all entities should concentrate efforts and strive to secure victory in the 2022 key work battle. It is also requested to take a project-oriented approach, set specific goals, make clear timelines and implement accountability mechanism so as to ensure the all works be comprehensively and successfully completed.

At the meeting, Yue Baode, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Shandong Energy Committee, also a Director and Chairman of the Labor Union of SDEG, made a comprehensive report on the key work completed in 2021, the work deployment in 2022 as well as the inspection work in 2021; Zhang Ruoxiang, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Shandong Energy Committee and Vice General Manager of SDEG, reported on the recent inspection work of safety production. 

The meeting was held via a video link. Liu Yuanchao, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Shandong Energy Committee, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission and Executive Inspector of SDEG, Yue Jianghua and Liu Jian, members of the Standing Committee of the CPC Shandong Energy Committee and Vice General Managers of SDEG, Yin Mingde, Consultant of SDEG, Ru Gang, External Director and CFO of SDEG, Wu Xiangqian, Chief Safety Officer, General Manager Assistants, Deputy Chief Executives of SDEG and the personnel above deputies of middle management levels of the Headquarter attended the meeting from the main venue at the headquarter of SDEG.
