On April 23, Li Wei, Party Secretary and Chairman of Shandong Energy Group, visited Xinwen Mining Group’s Taiwen Salt Chemicals Company and Yankuang Energy Smart Manufacturing Park to investigate work resumption, business operations, marketing, intelligent upgrading, and quality control. He also provided clear instructions for future development.
During his visit to Taiwen Salt Chemicals, Li emphasized that in the face of a complex landscape, the company must accurately grasp national development trends, keenly perceive the strategic importance of modern chemical industries, stay market-oriented, clarify its development positioning, adopt advanced technologies, and explore low-carbon emission pathways under the dual-carbon policy framework.
He noted that the company must remain confident, implement Shandong Energy’s integrated strategy for coal chemicals, petro chemicals, and salt chemicals, and ensure safe production and stable operations.
He called for thorough evaluation of rock-salt utilization projects, and for optimizing the layout of brine well mining sites, so as to effectively transform resource advantages into economic benefits.
He urged the company to seize policy opportunities, prioritize projects with swift transitions and high returns, and ensure maximum investment efficiency.
At Yankuang Energy Smart Manufacturing Park, Li stressed the need to strengthen internal service coordination, dynamically respond to enterprise needs, efficiently allocate resources, and promote collaborative innovation and integrated development in accordance with laws and regulations. He called for incubating a group of high-quality, technologically-advanced enterprises to produce more competitive flagship products.
He emphasized the importance of integrating production planning with brand development to build a distinctive high-end smart industrial park and a demonstration base for advanced manufacturing.
Li called for a focus on green, smart, and low-carbon development, with systematic planning for clean energy deployment and phased implementation of photovoltaic power projects, in order to build a green circular economy and continuously make the park more intelligent and greener.
He also urged accelerating the cultivation of new-quality productive forces, strengthening and extending the high-end coal mining equipment industrial chain, and developing an advanced manufacturing hub that integrates intelligent, green, and unmanned operations, thus delivering a strong performance in high-quality development.
