On the morning of September 23, Zhang Baocai, Deputy Secretary of CPC Shandong Energy Committee and Director and General Manager of SDEG, met with the guests from XinSteel and Dongfang Electric Corporation, respectively.

In the meeting with Guan Caitang, General Manager of Xinsteel, Zhang Baocai said that SDEG will further optimize the industrial transformation, and actively advance new energy and new materials, hoping to consolidate the achievements of two-way cooperation and realize a win-win between coal-based companies and steel-based ones.

An introduction was then made by Guan Caitang in terms of steel production and industrial layout of his company. He pointed out that XinSteel will broaden bilateral cooperation, strengthen bilateral communication and understanding, so as to consolidate the long-term cooperative partnership between the two sides.

After that, Zhang Baocai met with Xu Pengshi, Deputy Secretary of CPC Dongfang Electric Corporation Committee and General Manager of Dongfang Electric Corporation (DEC). He stressed that SDEG and DEC enjoy extensive cooperation space and a sound cooperation foundation in many fields, wishing both parties to strengthen exchanges, expand cooperation, innovate cooperation models, and combine strengths, as a way to make the energy industry greener.

Xu Peng appreciated SDEG for its consistent support to DEC. He expressed DEC’s willingness to deepen cooperation with SDEG in electricity-related equipment upgrading and transformation, clean energy development and utilization, energy conservation, and environmental protection, in order to promote the high-quality development of both enterprises.

Yue Jianghua, Member of the Standing Committee of CPC Shandong Energy Committee and Vice General Manager of SDEG, attended the two meetings.
