On the afternoon of January 28, SDEG held a special meeting to convey and implement the spirit of the National Development and Reform Commission’s work conference on how to stabilize coal production, supply and prices during the upcoming Spring Festival holiday. Li Wei, Secretary of the CPC Shandong Energy Committee and Chairman of SDEG, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech, making deployments for SDEG’s endeavour to get the job well done during the holiday.
The meeting emphasized that coal, electric power and chemicals producers under SDEG should plan ahead in advance and ensure the normal production and stable, reliable supply of coal for the upcoming holiday and major events, under the precondition of “safety is everything”. With safety production management in mind, SDEG should strictly implement the three-tiered safety management and control accountability system, and improve supervision and inspection during production, while resolutely putting safety on a paramount position. SDEG shall ensure coal stocks and supply and see an increase from 2.6Mt to 3.3Mt of coal stocks during the Spring Festival as required by Shandong provincial government.
Additionally, SDEG must optimize coal production and sales structure, to unswervingly complete the overarching task of increasing coal stocks and supply. On the basis of effective Covid-19 prevention and control measures, SDEG shall do more to enrich our employee’s life during the Spring Festival by organizing a series of enjoyable activities. More importantly, leaders at all levels must strictly perform their duties during this special period and supervise the production on site in person, and ensure every on-duty post must be on duty 24 hours a day.
Zhang Baocai, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Shandong Energy Committee and Director and General Manager of SDEG, and other members of the Standing Committee of the CPC Shandong Energy Committee, Yue Baode, Zhang Ruoxiang, Yue Jianghua and Liu Jian, attended the meeting. Directors of the second-level subsidiaries related to coal production and relevant departments (centers) of the headquarter also attended the meeting.
