Even during the May Day holiday, key projects across Shandong Province are speeding up construction. 

In Dongying, the construction of SDE-invested Middle Bohai Sea Offshore Wind Power Project are in full swing during the May Day holiday, especially the piling operation, so as to ensure the Project be put into operation and connected to power grid by the end of this year.

The total investment of the Project is more than RMB6 billion. Once put into operation, it can provide 1.698 billion KWH of green power and cut CO2 emissions by 1.2577 million tons. 

Zhang Minghua, the director of safety and technology department of Shandong Energy New Energy Company Limited, said: “Firmly practicing General Secretary Xi Jinping’s call to “secure the bowl of energy in our own hands”, we adopt uninterrupted operation in 3 shifts for 24 hours to ensure that fans are lifted by June, the first unit of facilities is connected to grid by October and the project is connected to the grid in full capacity by December, so as to realize the completion of the Project as scheduled."
