During the 2022 Qingdao Multinationals Summit (QMS), Zhou Naixiang, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Shandong Energy Committee and Governor of Shandong Province inspected SDE's exhibition booth, accompanied by Li Wei, Secretary of the CPC Shandong Energy Committee and Chairman of SDE.

At the sub-booth of Yunding Technology and Beidou Tiandi, Zhou Naixiang listened to the application of the ad hoc wireless command box for emergency communication and Beidou-3 short-message terminal. He asked SDE to boost R&D of new products and fuel their application in outdoor rescue, emergency disaster relief, marine rescue, etc.

After hearing the report on products innovation of the new materials industry at Zibo Mining Group sub-booth, Zhou Naixiang put forward the requirements that SDE should make further breakthroughs through cohesive efforts to build a strong Shandong in the new materials industry, give full play to its leading role as the “chain master”, stick to the high-end, green and integrated development, continuously strengthen technology innovation and improve core competitiveness.

At the sub-booth of both Shandong Energy Heavy Equipment Manufacturing Group and Yankuang Donghua Heavy Industry, Zhou Naixiang debriefed on products R&D and application of high-end equipment manufacturing, and requested that SDE should boost innovative R&D and application of core technologies, continuously increase its influence and competitiveness in high-end equipment manufacturing and facilitate Shandong in securing new breakthroughs and new achievements in this field.
