On July 31, Fan Bo, Member of the Party Group of Shandong Provincial Government and Vice Governor of Shandong, came to Shandong Energy for investigation. Li Wei, Secretary of the CPC Shandong Energy Committee and Chairman of SDE, reported to him on production safety, increasing coal reserves and securing energy supply, emergency rescue, and intelligent mine construction.

In Fucun coal mine of Shandong Energy Zaozhuang Mining Group, Fan Bo inspected the dispatching command center as we as education & training base, hailing SDE's work on intelligent mine construction and employee education and training.

Fan Bo pointed out that SDE must put people and their lives first throughout the entire process of production safety，and strengthen the red-line and bottom-line awareness in preventing the epidemic, stabilizing the economy and ensuring development safety，so as to set a stable stage for the upcoming 20th National Congress of the CPC.

SDE is required to fully shoulder its responsibilities for workplace safety management, strictly abide by the revised Workplace Safety Law and other related laws and regulations, earnestly implement the 20 innovative safety measures under 8 categories and strive to establish a dual prevention management system with the purpose of preventing or resolving major safety risks. In order to nip the safety hazards in the bud, SDE should strengthen its efforts in conducting safety education and training so as to raise staff’s safety awareness and enhance their capabilities in handling safety issues. SDE should scientifically organize production in a way to well balance safety and production, and economic benefits, and enterprise development; increase safety investment to promote technological breakthroughs in safe mining, including equipment renewal and new techniques, improve onsite safety management so as to lay a solid foundation for safety production.
