2022 Top China 500 Companies List is released Shandong Energy ranks the 23rd

On September 5, China Enterprise Confederation (“CEC”) and China Enterprise Directors Association (CEDA) co-held a press conference in Beijing, during which, the list of “2022 Top China 500 Companies” was released. With the operating revenues of RMB774.119 billion, Shandong Energy Group was ranked the 23rd on the list.

The threshold for the "2022 Top China 500 Companies" list is RMB44.625 billion, an increase of RMB5.389 billion over the last year. The total revenues of the top 500 companies in 2021 hit RMB100 trillion record for the first time, reaching RMB102.48 trillion which represents the year-on-year growth rate of 14.08%, the sharpest increase during the past 10 years.

244 companies register the revenues of more than RMB100 billion. With continuously optimized industry structures, improved profitability and innovation abilities, the companies on the list has become more and more influential globally, new strides have been made in “making SOEs become stronger, better and bigger”, an important direction given by General Secretary Xi Jinping.
