On January 20, Man Shengang, Party Secretary and Director of the Provincial SASAC (State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission), went to SDE to visit the still-on-duty staff. Li Wei, Secretary of the CPC Shandong Energy Committee and Chairman of Shandong Energy, and Zhang Baocai, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Shandong Energy Committee and Director and General manager of SDE, participated in the event.
At the General Dispatching Office of Shandong Energy, Li Wei introduced the reform and development of SDE. He said that under the strong leadership of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Government and the Provincial SASAC, SDE's economic benefits, operating quality and brand value have significantly improved in 2022 and the overall work has achieved remarkable results. At present, SDE complies with the strategic requirements of "carbon peak and carbon neutrality", and resolutely assumed the main responsibility of ensuring energy security, optimizing energy layout and structure. The Company will concentrate on the main business, focus on green, low-carbon and high-quality development, explore the integrated development of green coal, green electricity, and green chemical industry, speed up the development of strategic emerging industries, promote the energy revolution, and move faster to building itself into a clean energy supplier and world-class enterprise.
Man Shengang fully recognized the remarkable results of SDE's overall work in 2022, and checked the production situation of the Company through the dispatching system.
Man Shengang stressed that SDE shall comprehensively implement the important guidance on guaranteeing energy supply, given by Xi Jinping, the General Secretary the CPC Central Committee during his virtual visit to the staff of CNPC Tarim Oil Field Co., Ltd. In accordance to the guidance, SDE should fully tap its production capacity of its advanced coal mines and ensure that coal production is stabilized, coal storage is increased and supply is guaranteed during the Chinese Lunar New Year. To achieve that, SDE should make scientific plannings, coordinate all relevant parties to clearly lay out the work responsibilities and ensure their implementation while considering the peculiarity in arranging works during this special festival. In addition, SDE is required to reasonably coordinate development and safety. With the first priority of safety production, SDE shall enhance risk awareness, deal with safety hazards with "zero tolerance" and strive to achieve safe and stable production.
Man Shengang encouraged SDE to focus on the key tasks, seize major opportunities and make continuous strives in the year of 2023. In 2023, SDE is encouraged to grasp the major opportunity that the State Council positions Shandong as the pioneer in transforming old growth drivers into new ones and achieving green, low-carbon and high-quality development and focus on the new mission and new task of reforming state-owned assets and SOEs. SDE should comprehensively promote SOE reform, pursue high-quality development and strive to take lead among all Shandong SOEs so as to make new and greater contributions to the high-quality social and economic development of Shandong.
