On the afternoon of January 13, the signing ceremony of the Agreement on Joint Construction of Future Technology College and Industrial Technology Research Institute between SDE and Shandong University was held in Jinan. This signing represents a new high of cooperation based on the previous Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement in 2022, which means a milestone in the integration and development of universities and enterprises. Li Shucai, President of Shandong University and academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Li Wei, Secretary of the CPC Shandong Energy Committee and Chairman of SDE, attended the event.

Li Wei said that this co-construction is a practical action to promote the industry-university-research integrated development and a further deepening of the university-enterprise alliance. It is hoped that our two parties will construct Future Technology College and Industrial Research Institute with the highest standard, strengthen talent cooperation in scientific research, achievement commercialization, talent training, international exchanges, etc., lead a revolution in core technology innovation and jointly create a new model of industry-university-research cooperation.

Li Shucai said that at the beginning of the new year, the two parties sign an agreement to accelerate the implementation of key projects, which will definitely synergize both resource advantages and better support our respective development.

It is expected that the two sides will deepen pragmatic cooperation across the board and make a success of Future Technology College, Industrial Technology Research Institute and the world's first underground engineering disaster prevention and intelligent construction infrastructure of national significance, in order to promote the integration of innovation chains, industrial chains, capital chains and talent chains.

At the signing ceremony, Liu Jian, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Shandong Energy Committee and Vice General Manager of SDE, and Wang Junsong, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Shandong University Committee signed the Agreement on Joint Construction of Future Technology College and Industrial Technology Research Institute and the Cooperation Agreement on Talents Introduction, on behalf of the two parties.
