On April 7th, Shandong Energy Group (SDE) signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Geely Holding Group (Geely) at Shandong Hotel. Present at the signing ceremony were Lin Wu, Secretary of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee and Director of the NPC Standing Committee of Shandong, Liu Qiang, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee and Secretary of the CPC Jinan Municipal Committee, Zhang Haibo, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee and the General Secretary of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee, Li Wei, Secretary of the CPC Shandong Energy Committee, and Chairman of SDE, Li Shufu, Chairman of Geely, Huang Xinlong, Secretary of the CPC Geely Holding Group Committee and Fan Xianjun, the CEO of Geely New Energy Commercial Vehicle Group. 

The Signing Ceremony was presided over by Yu Haitian, the Deputy Secretary of the CPC Jinan Municipal Committee, also the Governor of Jinan. 

The agreement was signed by Yue Jianghua, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Shandong Energy Committee and Vice General Manager of SDE, and Wang Zhaoxing, the Senior Vice President of Geely on behave of the both sides. 

Under the agreement, both SDE and Geely will fully tap their respective advantages, continuously improve the products competitiveness and jointly explore new markets in the principles of promoting win-win cooperation and seeking common development. In the meanwhile, by utilizing resource advantages of industrial chains, the two parties will strengthen cooperation in fields of green energy, intelligent energy storage and others so as to facilitate enterprises in achieving zero carbon emission in development. 

Participants of this event also included Man Shengang, the Secretary the CPC Shandong SASAC Committee and Director General of SASAC, Wang Hongzhi, Member of the Standing Committee of CPC Jinan Municipal Committee, Vice Governor of Jinan, Secretary of the CPC Working Committee under Jinan High-tech Zone, and Director of the Management Committee of Jinan High-tech Zone.
