On the afternoon of May 17th, the CPC Shandong Energy Committee’s Theory-Learning Group conducted a collective study, as part of the themed education. They earnestly studied the important speeches recently delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping, focusing on "carrying the great self-revolution of the Party to the end". Li Wei, Secretary of the CPC Shandong Energy Committee and Chairman of SDE, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech.
Li Wei pointed out that the present primary political task is to thoroughly carry out themed education on studying and implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. Theoretical learning should be systematic, problem identification should be targeted, investigation should be effective, and rectification should be coherent.
Li Wei emphasized that we shall keep stability while seeking progress, and fully ensure safety, profits and development. Safety should be enhanced in every detail and the market be stabilized to ensure benefits. Meanwhile, product structure should be adjusted in a timely manner to realize maximum marketing performance.
SDE at all level shall cut costs and increase economic benefits. Feasible methods include developing new projects to create new growth drivers, comprehensively integrating market-oriented management and lean management, increasing production capacity and category, decreasing debt to assets ratio, cutting costs and the number unprofitable businesses, lifting production efficiency, investment in technology R&D, and operating cash ration, and improving management efficiency and asset quality.
Li Wei requested that management at all levels should strive for better work performance with meticulous attitude, practice the down-earth work approach to deliver authentic business performance. While conducting educational program on the current business situation, and business rectification campaign, SDE at all levels will strive to complete all the annual tasks set out earlier this year, which include 7 major tasks and 37 minor key tasks.
At the seminar, Mr. Yue Baode, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Shandong Energy Committee, Director and Chairman of the Trade Union of SDE, delivered the key messages of General Secretary Xi Jinping Speech delivered at Educational Work Conference on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era. Mr. Liu Yuanchao, a Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Shandong Energy Committee, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, and the specialized Supervisor, led the all the participants study the A Selection of Xi Jinping Works, as well as Self-reform of the CPC. Liu Qiang, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Shandong Energy Committee and Vice General Manager of SDE, passed down the key information of General Secretary Xi Jinping's speech at the third collective study of the CPC Central Committee Political Bureau.
Mr. Ru Gang, the Vice General Manager and Chief Auditor of SDE, participated in the Study, together with other Key CPC committee Members.
