On June 12, the launching ceremony of the national coal mining front-line workers' status research project was held in 75 Coal Mining Co., Ltd., affiliated to Shandong Energy Zaozhuang Mining Group. Cai Yide, Chairman and Branch Party Secretary of China Energy Chemical Geology Union, and Yue Baode, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Shandong Energy Committee, Director of SDE and Chairman of SDE trade union, attended the launching ceremony.
Cai Yide announced the official launch of the national coal mining front-line workers' status research project, and conferred an authorized tablet on the SDE research team that undertook the research task, which was received by Yue Baode on behalf of the research team.
Cai Yide, on behalf of China Energy Chemical Geology Union, thanked SDE for its strong support for this work. He pointed out that carrying out nation-wide research on the status quo of first-line workers in coal mining industry is crucial in cracking the difficulties encountered in recruitment and promoting the high-quality development of the coal industry. The research group and relevant institutions shall attach great importance to this research project, make overall arrangements, conduct strategic plannings and take swift actions. Through in-depth analysis on the research results, the research team shall formulate counter-measures and coping strategies to support decision-making.
Yue Baode introduced the preliminary preparatory work done by the research group and the preliminary analysis results of the data acquired online, and put forward further work requirements. It is necessary to organize on-site research and find out the work reality of the front-line coal miners. It is required that research team should accelerate the composition of the research report in order to make improvement and retain talents for this industry.
At the launching ceremony, two work reports were delivered on the work of SDE Trade Union and the reform and development of Zaozhuang Mining Group. And participants watched the promotional videos on trade unions of both SDE and Zaozhuang Mining Group, and visited the Themed Exhibition on the party building work of Zaozhuang Mining Group. In addition, they also visited work faces of UG Coal Mine of 75 Coal Mining Co., Ltd., and learned about the operation of the UG TDS intelligent dry preparation system in detail.
Before the ceremony, the participants also visited Zaozhuang Xuecheng Railway guerrilla Party Spirit Education Base where they received themed education.
Participants of the launching ceremony include Wu Huaizhi, Deputy Director of Power work Department and Second-level Researcher of China Energy Chemical Geology Union, Zhou Chen, Fourth-level Researcher of Coal Mine Work Department of China Energy Chemical Geology Union, Hao Wenling, Second-level Researcher of Shandong Energy Trade Union, as well as members of the research group and representatives of some cadres and workers of 75 Coal Mining Co., Ltd.
