On November 3, the SDE Staff Awarding Ceremony Competition on Innovation and Efficiency Enhancement & the First Craftsmanship Forum was successfully held at Luxi Mining. By awarding the high-performers, holding exchange forum, exhibiting achievements, SDE further promoted the innovative spirit and craftsmanship, boosted the morale of SDE staff at all levels in innovation and creation, and offered talent support for the high-quality development of SDE. Jia Haitao, the Member of the Sub-party Group and Vice President of China Energy, Chemicals and Geology Trade Union, Tan Bo, both the Member of the Party Group, and the Director of Funds Audit Committee under Shandong Provincial General Trade Union, and Zhang Baocai, the Deputy Secretary of the CPC Shandong Energy Committee, Director and General Manager of SDE, attended the event and delivered speeches respectively.
Jia Haitao commented that at the new development stage, SDE implemented the new development concept, and integrated into the new development pattern. With a special focus on reforming and cultivating the industrial personnel for the new era, SDE had been devoted to the all-round improvement of staff skills, and spared no effort in organizing innovation and efficiency enhancement activities that targeted all SDE staff members at all levels. So far, SDE has achieved fruitful results in enterprise innovation building, innovative platform development and innovative talents cultivation, which generated strong impetus for the high-quality development of SDE.
Tan Bo said SDE always prioritize and value innovation and has established an innovation and efficiency enhancement system that integrates innovation platform, innovation base, innovative talents group and innovative results (“Four in One System”) . Led by the trade union and supported by the party committee, SDE successfully coordinated all departments and engaged all staff members in promoting innovation. With a number of excellent practices and experience, SDE has set a positive example in staff innovation enhancement campaign across the whole Shandong Province.
Zhang Baocai said that the key in truly advancing the innovation and efficiency enhancement lies in the way SDE understands, interprets and practices innovation. SDE at all levels should further lift the awareness, fully grasp the logic behind such campaign, and ensure all staff members are engaged in the process. It should be noted that innovative changes, no matter tiny or grand, are all the source of power that drive the enterprise development. By taking a pragmatic approach, SDE aims to ensure the innovative program serves the real need of production and operation, and contributes to the enterprise reform and development. All subsidiaries shall strengthen leadership, improve work mechanism, spur the enthusiasm of staff for engagement, and ensure staffs that invent and innovate get the reward they deserve, be it honorary or material. It is necessary to enrich the innovative platforms, expand channels for all-staff innovation, and accelerate the transformation of staff innovation achievements. SDE should also elevate professionalism of all staff, build innovative talent teams, constantly broaden the space for staff growth, cultivate a big batch of high-level workforce that is knowledgeable, skillful and smoothly advance the staff innovation and efficiency enhancement campaign.
At the Ceremony, Zhang Ruoxiang, the Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Shandong Energy Committee, and Vice General Manager of SDE, announced the decision on awarding the Entities and Individuals that have taken the lead in the “Four in One” Innovation and Efficiency Enhancement Campaign in 2023. SDE leaders conferred the Excellent Organizer Award, Full Staff Innovation Enterprise Award, Demonstration Innovative Labor Model Workshop Award, 2023 SDE Craftsman Award, Staff Innovation Achievement Special Award (for the No.1 project responsible person), and Staff Innovation Achievement Class l Award. Luxi Mining, Shandong Energy New Materials, and Yankuang Donghua Heavy Industry made experience exchanges. National Labor Models, National Craftsmen, China National Skill Award winner, China Mayday Labor Award winner, and Shandong Craftsman Award winner made experience sharing.
On the same afternoon, SDE held the opening ceremony for the First SDE Craftsmanship Forum “Intelligence & Innovation Forges New SDE, New Era Witnesses New Achievements”. Participants by invitation included National Labor Models, National Craftsmen, Entities and Individuals that have taken the lead in the Innovation and Efficiency Enhancement Campaign. At the gathering, the participants made in-depth exchanges regarding how to excel in promoting the campaign in a pragmatic approach. At the ceremony, the Staff Innovative Achievements Exhibition was also launched.
Participants of the event were Wu Xiaorui, the President of Shandong Provincial Energy Trade Union, Zhao Heping, the Vice President of Shandong Provincial Energy Trade Union, Liu Jian and Liu Qiang, the two Members of the CPC Shandong Energy Committee and Vice General Managers of SDE, and Sun Xikui, the Chief Engineer of SDE.
