SDE ranks No.1 in parallel with CHN Energy Investment Group (CHN Energy) and Shaanxi Coal and Chemical Industry Group with the same amount of benchmark coal mines selected.
Yankuang Energy Group was selected as one of the five 2023 national benchmark brands in the coal industry with such selection being the very first in the industry.
Zhang Zhaoyun, the General Manager of Dongtan Coal Mine, delivered a speech, on behave of 2021 Benchmark Coal Mine leaders, under the theme of “Advancing lean Management and improvement in six areas namely, production, quality, cost control, logistics supply & Marketing, operation as well as self-improvement so as to forge new management models, activate coal mine value and create new impetus”.

The China 2023 Coal Industry Benchmarking Work Conference is known to be the first large scale conference ever held by the Coal Industry Benchmark Center since its establishment in 2020. The theme of the conference stood as "Extensive consultation, joint construction and sharing, with the focus of creating value, and building the first-class”.
A total of approximately 400 people attended the conference including Liang Jiakun, President of China National Coal Association, Xie Hongxu, Vice President of China National Coal Association and Director of Coal Industry Benchmark Center, Wang Hongqiao, Vice President of China National Coal Association, as well as other participants from the relevant coal industry associations and coal enterprises at provincial, municipal and district levels.
