On the morning of 12 January, Li Wei, the CPC Shandong Energy Committee and Chairman of SDE, led a delegation to visit Huang Jinsheng, Member of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Emergency Management & the Party Group Secretary and Director of National Mine Safety Administration. Also present were Zhang Xin, the Party Group Member and Deputy Director of National Mine Safety Administration, Xin Guanglong, Director of General Office Department, Zhao Suqi, Director of Investigation and Statistics Department, Li Dasheng, Supervisory Commissioner of Coal Mine Supervision Department, and Li Shangjun, Deputy Director of General Office Department.
Li Wei expressed his gratitude to National Mine Safety Administration for their long-term support and guidance and reported on the recent work of SDE. Li Wei stated that in recent years, SDE has practiced the instruction of General Secretary Xi Jinping on safe production, implemented safe production laws and regulations as well as the "fifteen strict measures" of the State Council. It has resolutely implemented the "2356" safe production campaign and carried out overall rectification, enabling steady progress in this regard.
Going forward, SDE will adhere to the "two paramounts", balance development and safety, and launch a three-year action to make coal mining fundamentally safe. It will be more resolute in promoting the construction of flagship intelligent mines, strengthening risk prevention and control, preventing major risks, ensuring work safety and conducting zero tolerant in supervision and assessment, in order to shift safety governance models towards proactive prevention.
Huang Jinsheng extended his warm welcome to Li Wei and Shandong Energy Delegation and fully recognized Shandong Energy’s achievement in intelligent development. He further pointed out that SDE has always seen technology as the key to enhance safety, and has initiated explorations in breaking technological bottlenecks, improving prevention and control on major disasters, and advancing intelligent development. Through these practices, SDE successfully widened its brand influence and contributed to the industrial development. In the next stage, SDE shall actively explore new routes for intelligent development, and prioritize the tackling of difficulties that hinder safety production. With a gradual and steady approach, SDE will accumulate experience, secure breakthroughs and replicate successful application so as to lead the industry as an intelligent solution provider. In addition, SDE will strengthen the application of the intelligent and remote monitoring so that it can detect safety hazards ahead of time and improve equipment safety. Automation and intelligence shall also be deployed at the key links, key areas and key positions of coal mines so as to realize un-manned intelligent production.
Huang Jinsheng stressed that safety supervisors at all levels should comply with professional ethics, enhance learning and improve expertise so as to better guide the industrial development. It is necessary to pinpoint the supervisory responsibilities, innovate supervisory methods, standardize the supervisory act, and formulate work synergy to better facilitate businesses in solving real problems and realizing safe and scientific development.
Participants of this meeting also included Liu Jian, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Shandong Energy Committee and Vice General Manager of SDE, as well as Sun Xikui, the Chief Engineer of SDE.
