On the morning of 29 May 2024, Li Wei, Secretary of the CPC Shandong Energy Committee and Chairman of SDE, led a delegation to visit China Railway Engineering Equipment Group (CREE). Zhang Zhiguo, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager of CREE, received the delegates.

Li Wei visited the CREE Intelligent High-End Equipment Industrial Park, the National TBM Industrialization Center, and CREE Shield Tunnelling Machine Assembly Workshop. He reviewed the important instructions given by General Secretary Xi Jinping during his visit to CREE, calling for the transformation from Made in China to Created in China, Chinese Speed to Chinese Quality, and Chinese Products to Chinese Brands. Through the site tour, Li Wei deeply understood the profound connotation of General Secretary Xi Jinping's Three Transformations. He also gained a detailed picture of CREE's development history, product portfolio, and key technology R&D.

Li Wei expressed that CREE has been widely recognized on the back of its excellent contract performance, high-quality products, and premium after-sales service. He hopes that both parties can build on their previous cooperation, leverage their respective advantages, deepen industry-research collaboration, and focus on key technology breakthroughs together to jointly promote high-quality enterprise development.

Zhang Zhiguo stressed that CREE is willing to strengthen communication and pragmatic cooperation with Shandong Energy, so as to foster synergy in the field of high-end equipment manufacturing and achieve mutual benefits and win-win outcomes.
