On the morning of June 17, Li Wei, Secretary of the CPC Shandong Energy Committee and Chairman of Shandong Energy Group, presided over the Shandong Energy weekly meeting where he delivered the messages from the Conference on Optimizing the Business Environment of Shandong Province, listened to the relevant work reports of Shandong Energy affiliates, dynamically learned about and scientifically analyzed the work performance of last week, arranged and deployed the work tasks of this week and in the near future.
Li Wei stressed that the Conference on Optimizing the Business Environment of Shandong Province was held to promote reform and innovation, empower business through digitalization, cultivate a new business environment that is market-oriented, law-based, open and international. Affiliates at all levels are required to study the messages from the conference and ensure that the affiliates operate business in compliance with laws and regulations. It is further required that all the affiliates should learn from the previous accidents, further enhance safety performance, strengthen risk management and control, as well as the hazards governance. The safety management and control system shall be further improved and all the affiliates shall clearly define and divide the relevant responsibilities, and take a down-to-earth approach in proceeding with all the works. In addition, Shandong Energy at all levels shall pay great heed to the high temperature, and take counter measures. It is necessary to make plannings beforehand for the upcoming heavy rainfall season and heat waves, and formulate emergency planning so as to ensure safe production.
Li Wei required that in view of the difficulties encountered in reform and development, Shandong Energy affiliates at all levels shall make plannings and conduct risk analysis ahead of schedule so as to seize the initiative. It is further required that Shandong Energy affiliates shall take a systematic approach in identifying and solving problems at all links, and remain continuous and form closed-loops when advancing all the works.
The meeting was held via a video link. Participants of the weekly meeting include Shandong Energy Group leaders Zhou Hong, Zhang Ruoxiang, Jiao Qisheng, Ru Gang, Liu Qiang, Hou Yugang, CFO Yang Zaichang, Senior Executives Wu Xiangqian, Sun Xikui, Zhu Qingrui and Xu Xichao.
