On November 24, Wen Jinrong, Party Secretary of the Jining Municipal Committee, and Yu Yongsheng, Deputy Party Secretary and Mayor of Jining, investigated Yankuang Energy and Donghua Heavy Industry. Li Wei, Party Secretary and Chairman of SDE, and Zhou Hong, Party Deputy Secretary, Director, and General Manager of SDE, received the delegation and held in-depth discussions on deepening cooperation between local governments and enterprises to achieve mutual benefits.
During the meeting, Li Wei introduced the company’s status-quo, as well as the business operations in Jining. He expressed gratitude for the long-term support from Jining Government, and highlighted that Jining is an important industrial base for Shandong Energy. He stated that SDE would actively integrate into Jining's overall development, leverage its advantages in industry, technology, talent, and management, and promote the smart manufacturing park project to contribute more to Jining’s high-quality development.
Wen Jinrong replied that Yangkuang Energy has been deeply rooted in Jining, and already made significant contributions to the regional development. The new SDE after the merger as always attaches great importance to its industrial presence in Jining. The solid foundation for cooperation between the two parties also bolsters great potential for growth.
He noted that Jining is currently at a key stage of green, low-carbon, and high-quality development, and expressed the hope that SDE would continue to leverage its industrial and technological strengths, support Jining’s development, expand effective investment, accelerate project construction, optimize industrial layout, and promote win-win cooperation between the two sides. Jining will further strengthen the interaction with SDE, provide robust services, and fully support its future development.
During the visit, participating leaders also visited the control rooms of Donghua Heavy Industry and Yankuang Energy.
Jining municipal leaders, Chen Chenghua, Dong Bo, and Liu Dongbo, along with SDE leaders, Zhang Ruoxiang, Jiao Qisheng, Liu Jian, and Ru Gang, joined the event.
