The first working meeting of the new session of senior management of Shandong Energy (the Group) was convened on 30 June. At which, the decision and instruction of Shandong Provincial Committee and Shandong Provincial People’s Government on adjustment of the Group’s senior management was announced, and recent work deployment was given. The meeting also mobilizes all levels of organization and staff to unify ideas, build consensus, carry forward our cause and forge ahead into the future, to ensure the stability during the 100th anniversary of the funding of the communist party and secure normal operation during the adjustment of the senior management.
Li Wei, Party Secretary of CPC Shandong Energy Committee and chairman of Shandong Energy, delivered speech and required all levels of units unify ideas and actions in line with the decision of CPC Shandong Provincial Committee and Shandong government and work for the reform and development target together. He also asked to launch training themed “seek development with unity, concerted efforts and cohesion”, firmly establish consciousness of “one family, one chess and one heart” i.e. thinking in terms of the big picture, firmly establish the consciousness of urgency i.e. “do quickly rather than wait and see ”, firmly establish consciousness of rules “adhere to Party spirit, consider the overall interests and observe discipline”, firmly establish consciousness of responsibilities i.e. “dare to take responsibilities, be able to fulfil responsibilities, and be good at fulfilling responsibilities ”, firmly establish consciousness of enterprising i.e. “striving for high realm and leading level and first class”. Thus to form resultant force for development with unified ideas and concerted efforts. The cadres at all levels shall inherit and carry forward the fine traditions, continue to strengthen team building and self-building, work hard to seek development, and transfer the organization’s trust and the mass’s hope into strong drives of diligent work for enterprise development and employee’s welfare.
We should firmly establish a correct view of power and values, maintain awe at all times, be cautious at integrity and be cautious at minor things at the very beginning, set up a life line, draw a clear red line of law and discipline, stick to the bottom line of behavior, and always maintain a good image of honesty and pragmatism.
Li Wei pointed out that safety is the red line of enterprise development, stability is the premise of development, production and operation is the core task of enterprises. Organizations at all levels should do their best to ensure the stability of safety work, attach equal importance to management, equipment, systems and quality, tighten safety responsibilities at all levels, carry out safety warnings and training, establish the concept that disasters can be prevented, treated and controlled, strictly implement the safety assurance supervision system, and promote in-depth investigation and rectification. We will perform our duties to ensure the stability of production and operation, give priority to key links such as production organization, marketing, cost control, and inventory optimization, innovate and implement measures to tap the potential of production, improve the quality and efficiency of production, deepen coordination in the "six major areas", and improve the efficiency of operation and management.
We must keep the direction of our plans, targets and tasks, responsibilities and requirements, and assessment policies unchanged, maintain the continuity and stability of all our work in accordance with the same blueprint at all times, keep pace with the times and make breakthroughs, resolutely accomplish the annual targets and tasks, and push forward key tasks at full speed. We must give priority to political achievement of the Party building, comprehensively and strictly discipline the Party, carry out study of the history of the Party, establish correct guidance for selecting and appointing people, and accelerate the integration and upgrading of company culture so as to provide political and organizational guarantees for the reform and development of the enterprise.
Li Wei emphasized that the Group has entered the crucial period for the optimization after reorganization and merger, the accelerated replacement of old growth drivers with new ones, and the setting sail for world first-class enterprise and forging ahead. Now the enterprise is constrained by more and more factors, the task of enterprise reform and innovation is arduous and the low-carbon transformation is extremely urgent. The cadres at all levels shall strengthen accountability and maintain passion for enterprising, neither wait for nor dependent on somebody else, strictly discipline themselves, abide by rules and regulations, improve work style, and strive for a new chapter of quality development of the Group.
Zhang Baocai, the deputy secretary of CPC Shandong Energy Committee，the Director of the Board and the General Manager of the Group chaired the meeting and gave requirements for the implementation of the spirits of the meeting.
Yu Baode, Zhang Ruoiang, Liu Yuanchao, Yue Jianghua, Liu Jia, the members of the new session of the senior management, the deputy general managers and chief executives attended the meeting. The persons in charge of the departments (centers), the leaders of the level two subsidiaries (subordinates) and the leaders of the level three senior management of the Group attended the meeting via video conference.
