On September 10, the 14th China (Jinan) International Information Technology Expo opened in Jinan at Shandong International Convention and Exhibition Center. The three-day Expo is co-sponsored by China Information Technology Industry Federation, National Industrial Information Security Development Research Center, and Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shandong Province. It is themed “Empowering high-quality development by digital technology to build Shandong into a digital powerhouse”. Shandong Energy Group (SDEG) was invited to join the Expo.

In recent years, SDEG has staunchly followed the decisions made by CPC Shandong Provincial Committee and Shandong Provincial People’s Government, seized the opportunities brought by the development of the digital economy, and set store by big data, industrial Internet, and smart coal mining, as part of prudent efforts to grow into a global clean energy supplier and world-beating energy company. With the aforementioned theme in mind, SDEG signed up for the Expo with several of its subsidiaries, including Yunding Technology Co., Ltd, Beidou Tiandi Co., Ltd, Shandong Energy Digital Technology, Co., Ltd and Qilu E-commerce Co., Ltd, and mainly demonstrated their achievements in digital transformation planning, smart coal mining and information industry developments.

At the Expo, officials from Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of PRC, China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shandong Province and Jinan Municipal Government, hailed SDEG’s recent fruits in digital transformation, during their stays at SDEG’s booth.
