On April 7, Li Ganjie, Secretary of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee, visited WindSun Science & Technology Co., Ltd. (“Windsun”), to investigate the work of Covid-19 prevention and control, as part of his survey on Shandong’s socio-economic development. Li Wei, Secretary of the CPC Shandong Energy Committee and Chairman of SDEG reported relevant situation.
WindSun is a national high-tech enterprise. In recent years, thanks to its continuous investment in R&D, some of its products have secured a relatively high market share. Li Ganjie visited the workshops to inspect the production of innovative products, while listening to the briefing of the Company's Covid-19 prevention & control efforts and production & operation realities. Li Ganjie pointed out that while thoroughly exercising the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping, requirements of the CPC Central Committee, and the arrangements of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee, SDEG shall go to great lengths to implement the routine epidemic prevention & control mechanism, ensure safe production, and create a safe and stable atmosphere.
Li Ganjie stressed that innovation is the inexhaustible power that drives enterprise development and hoped that more efforts should be devoted to R&D so as to improve the core competitiveness of the products. Li Ganjie further required that WindSun should attract investment in its industry chain, promote business investment, extend the industrial chain to the downstream end products with the purpose of forging a strong and high quality industrial chain. In addition, WindSun should continue to maintain normal production and life order, unswervingly promote production as well as project construction and spare no efforts to avoid suspension of major business. The local authority, relevant departments, the enterprise and individuals should perform their respective responsibilities and strengthen coordination so as to achieve work synergy. Focusing on high-quality development, WindSun should resolutely accelerate the replacement of old growth drivers with new ones and promote the industrial transformation and upgrading.
