On the morning of November 8, Zhou Dechang, Member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of National Mine Safety Administration, led a research team to SDE for investigation. He and his delegation were well received by Li Wei, Secretary of the CPC Shandong Energy Committee and Chairman of SDE, and Zhang Baocai, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Shandong Energy Committee, Director and General Manager of SDE.
Li Wei said that SDE conscientiously implements General Secretary Xi Jinping's concept of "putting people first and life first" and his important instructions for safety work, and fully practices safety production regulations and standards and the requirements set by National Mine Safety Administration.
SDE will adhere to legal governance, never cross red lines, and lay a solid foundation for the corporate success, implement the "15 hard measures" of the State Council Safety Committee and the “8 macro goals with micro 20 targets altogether", launch the safety production guarantee campaign, and ensure everybody knows "hidden danger is an accident, prevention is better than disaster relief, and life and health always comes first".
Besides, SDE will do more to increase safety investment, promote equipment upgrading, creatively integrate “production, universities and research institutes”, accelerate digital and network construction, unswervingly deepen grassroots infrastructure building, counter major disasters, and improve the quality and efficiency of education and training work, so as to consolidate the foundation of safety work.
Zhou Dechang said that as a national banner enterprise in coal industry, SDE has taken a lead in areas of safety management & control, major disaster management, intelligent mine construction, technical personnel cultivation, innovation as well as R&D in science and technology. Guided by the instructions from the 20th CPC National Congress, SDE will actively respond to General Secretary Xi Jinping’s call to cultivate stronger, better and bigger SOEs in a resolute manner. Complying with the strategic requirements of “Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality”, SDE is committed to further consolidating the concept of safe development, improving the safety infrastructures and enhancing the resistance to coal mine disasters so as to achieve safety production. In order to enhance safety guarantee, SDE should continuously strengthen its capacity in the management of major disasters and solidly conduct safety, professional and technical trainings among all staff members. In addition, SDE is required to shoulder the responsibilities in mitigating and reducing major safety risks, promote and apply the good practices and experience gained from preventing and managing the rock bursts, as well as from the previous safety trainings.
