"Belt and Road Initiative" landmark project
The Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway is 142 kilometers in length with a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour. It is the first high-speed railway in Indonesia and even in the entire Southeast Asia. It is a landmark of China-Indonesia joint construction of the "Belt and Road Initiative", representing the first-ever overseas completion of a Chinese high-end rail project with Chinese technology and standards adopted. Remarkably, the high-strength, high-resilience and corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy profiles used in the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed train carriage are designed and developed by Shandong Energy Light Alloy Company.

The high-end aluminum profiles are being produced with full capacity at the 150MN production line in the second extrusion workshop of Shandong Yankuang Light Alloy Co., Ltd (Hereafter the “Light Alloy Company” ).
The aluminum alloy profiles developed by the Light Alloy Company possess properties of high strength, high toughness and corrosion resistance, which are perfect fits in solving key technical problems such as unevenness of material flow and temperature encountered when extruding the ultra-thin and high-end aluminum alloy profiles with large cross sections.
