On the afternoon of July 18th, Lin Wu, Secretary of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee, paid visit to Shandong Energy Group. He stressed the need to thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on the reform and development of SOEs. He urged the Company to lead the way and open new chapters, concentrating on its core responsibilities and main business while deepening reforms and innovation. This, in turn, would further strengthen, optimize, and expand the Company, providing robust support for green, low-carbon, and high-quality development.
Upon arrival, Lin Wu first inspected the safety production and emergency management work at the Shandong Energy Group's Dispatching Command Center. He then gained insights into the “Cloud-based Shandong Energy” initiative, as well as the management, control, procurement, and supply of production materials in the E-commerce Hall. Additionally, Li Wei, Secretary of the CPC Shandong Energy Committee and Chairman of SDE presented a work report.
Lin Wu pointed out that in recent years, Shandong Energy Group has secured positive achievements in the reform and development, which plays an important role in maintaining the stable running of the province's economy. At the same time, in the face of new situations and tasks, the Company is also confronted with new problems and challenges for the development, therefore targeted measures should be taken to solve them. It is necessary to enhance the sense of responsibility and urgency to promote the high-quality development of the Company. Combining the ongoing theme-focused education, the Company should focus on key tasks, and come up with more concrete measures to promote the reform and development to a new level. While focusing on green, low-carbon and high-quality development, Shandong Energy Group should concentrate on major industries, work hard on their extension of the industrial chains, and should never blindly expand aimlessly. The Company should strengthen its dominant position in innovation, promote the organic integration of the innovation chain, talent chain and industrial chain, as well as improve the quality of products and services, so as to constantly enhance the core competitiveness of the Company. The Company should further deepen the reform of state-owned enterprises, optimize and improve corporate governance, and stimulate the internal impetus for high-quality development. It should enlarge effective investment, propel to put the major projects into operation and achieve the expected results, and ensure stable production and supply of important resources and energy, so as to make contributions to economic stability and development.
